New Pillow

I just love this fabric, It's Amy Butler's Deco Rose fabric. I want to use the scraps from this pillow on a doll because I love it so much. Lately I've been getting all my Amy Butler fabric from Above All Fabric online. If you're interested in purchasing my pillow it's posted on Etsy. Click the link below.

Dolls anyone?

Recently my friend Jenn and I were invited to a Christmas Boutique to have a table there and be vendors (sounds so official) I'm pretty excited about it and thought I better start making stuff for it so I made these cute dolls!

The boy doll without hair and shoes is still work in progress but you get the idea. The awesome thing about them is that their clothes and shoes come off and are interchangeable! I plan on making more variety and putting them up on etsy.

Pelham's Nightmare Before Christmas Pillow

I’m super proud of this pillow! I made it using a t-shirt I bought form hot topic and then cut out the print and sewed it onto some fleece fabric and bam! a pillow. It has a black zipper which allows for easy washing. Also I used a bamboo pillow insert (only the best for Pel!) The other awesome thing about it is the tag, which is a felt tag with embroidered letters that say “Happy Birthday Pel!”

Magnet Tree!!

This weekend I made a tree trunk to hold my flower magnets. Next weekend I'll be selling these flower magnets at a local flea market and I thought it'd be cool if I had a good way to display them. What I did to make it was buy some aquarium wood from the pet store and then painted it with Magnet paint, I did two coats and it's enough to hold the magnets, although I think if I were to sell this I'd put three coats just to make it extra magnety. I really like how this turned out and I have some ideas for how I could sell this as a set, along with leaf shaped note paper, although for me to make a profit I'd have to search for real wood maybe free wood so that I don't waist $15 on some pet store wood.
